|  Non Valentine People LOOK HERE! I made a lil Valentines poem..... Roses are Red Violets are Blue Valentines Day Sucks Just like the Flu Now my suggestion is to go find something that you can burn from the ex-boyfriend, ex-hubby, or ex-girlfriend and BURN IT! But please be careful when playing with matches, you should only do so wisely with water and a fire putter outer is near by. And in case the fireman have to come, please make sure that you are all *dolled* up first!!! |

| I like this thread! I don't like valentines day and never have - even back in grade school... it's just one more day the "chocolate people" and the greeting card industry makes a ton of money. (although, I certainly have NOTHING against chocolate - my favorite food group. ) |

| I love your poem Twalla...even tho I'm married and he's a wonderful guy, he is just NOT the romantic type. In the past I have even sent myself flowers and signed his name to them He still doesn't get it and we have been married 39 years!

| I'm with Patty...I'm married to a very wonderful man, but he is NOT very romantic...but that is okay...that is partly my fault because I always tell him not to waste money on something silly for me....it needs to be something for us all! But, when we were dating, of course, he was very romantic (jewelry, flowers, you name it).....one year, he did write a poem in my card..that was GREAT! ....I bet he does flowers....the last few years, he always gives my daughter and I some flowers.....so maybe he is coming around!
