| Digital Camera Well, I have been looking at all of these great pictures of yorkies and it made me realize that I am going to forget a lot of great memories because I don't have a digital camera anymore. My being a full time college student means I can't spend two or three hundred on a digital camera although it would probably be best. What kind of digital cameras do you guys have? Any suggestions on where I can find a great camera under $150.00? I'm scared to buy a camera that I have never used because some just take horrible pictures! Suggestions Please!

Senior Yorkie Talker | Interesting question as I'm in the market for a new one as well. As a rule of thumb, 2MP camera's are good for printing off photo's at the 4x6 size. Any bigger and you lose quality. I'm personally looking at a 5+ megapixel range. My last 2MP camera is a bit outdated now. Two other things I am taking into consideration are battery life. My last camera ate the batteries. And also the speed at which it takes the picture. I hate the cameras that flash 50 times before the picture is taken. It will be interesting to see some of the reply's.

| Cannon makes a few cameras that are around the $150 range, I'm on my third Cannon and have loved all of them. Note: They all still work fine, I'm just spoiled. My best friend got an HP camera and let me play with it, let's just say I won't deviate from my SD850IS...but while I was just looking...I saw a new one I want. Like this camera. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Wow.. 150$ for 7MP. I payed 500$ for my 2MP years ago. Thats what I hate about technology.

| I know, my camera is on sale for $300, we paid $450 6 months ago...but we also got the insurance plan, so we can get a better camera and pay the difference on it. Plus another $75 for insurance, not a bad deal at all, if you like to get a new camera every year or two. |
