| Tri-Sprintec pills?? Anyone know anything about these birthcontrol pills? My daughter has been on antibiotics to help w/ your acne and they have helped greatly, but her doctor advised not to be antibiotics for a long period of time and the dermatologist it was time to try something new...and the next step was a low dose birth control pill..... Plus, the doctor is trying to regulate my daughters monthly cycle because she gets very weak and passes out, SICK, etc. She is on a vitamin and iron regiment right now, but the doctor said the birthcontrol pills will help as well. So....hopefully, this will help several of her issues........ The doctor and dermatologist said they would prescribe Ortho Low or Yaz for her (some low dose).....but our insurance does not cover birthcontrol pills and the Tri-Sprintec is on the $4 list at Wal-Mart. Has anyone used it? What are your thoughts on it? Also, I spoke w/ our insurance lady at my DH's work and she said that in this case, with my daughter being young and needing it for medical problems, said they could probably do an excemption in this case. And if that being the case, which she said that she thought there were only two birthcontrol pills that the excemption would allow, I could get a different pill at our insurance cost....which I am not sure what that would be. So....should I stick w/ this $4 Tri-Sprintec or try to go w/ the insurance and see what they would cover?
