| Where do doggie internet stores get their stuff? Like Pamperedpuppy.com or something like that- where do they buy all their doggie stuff at wholesale? And those cute stuffed toys like the little pieces of cake and stuff- SOOO cute! I've never seen a wholesaler offer such cute stuff! Where does it all come from?! |

| They buy directly from the companies like Ruff Ruff Couture, Oscar Newman, I See Spot, Hip Doggie, etc. The mark up is huge, too, about twice as much. |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Not sure but I agree that some stores double the price. There is a place that I bought a few things from on Ebay in the past. I realized that she carries a lot of things from petedge and also walmart and the like and the price is double what it cost her at those stores.

Retail customers can buy directly from a lot of the companies...most have websites that you can order off of.

| The standard wholesale price is 50% off of the retail price. Some however, will have a higher markup though, depending on which store you're shopping with. Most boutiques buy directly from the companies at Wholesale pricing to stock their stores. You do need a tax ID # and many companies that wholesale to stores especially online like to verify and approve of the shop before agreeing to wholesale in my experience. |
