| This is where Scoobydo will be laid to rest When I look at these pics they bring me laughter and joy, but when I think the little fellar in the pics is no more, it makes me weep. My little scooby do will be laid on rest on this beach in Northern Brittany France where we will sprinkle his ashes delicately on all the parts of the beach and sea he loved so much, from these pics you can tell he loved it so much. It is so terrible he died only 4 days after returning from such a beautiful place where he stayed one month and some days he was cut down low because he got tangled up in a set of oil that was in the water and it was not possible to remove it from his hair, so he got a little more shaved down than the shave he had has prior to going. It was not cold there like in the upper 60*s and that is in the midst of winter here is my little scoobydo on the beach with Bandit this first picture was my all time favorite and it was difficult to take as they ran like hell and so fast, but i love this pic and will always remember it. Second pic bandit gets to take up the chase. Pardon that my husband's head is blacked out, it is his right not to want his pic on the net and I have to respect that. Now I am sure my little cooby would have loved this, I cant think of a better place to lay him to rest. He will be forever running up and down on this lovely beach he also loved to jump on those rocks at low tide both he and bandit enjoyed that so much. I miss him so much today watching at these pics |

Thank you so much, yes, and I thought it gets better with time, watching his photos and how he had such a lovely time in France breaks my heart to think it is finished. But I think we will get comfort putting his ashes around the beach and house, and everytime we walk there we will know he is with us. I guess what makes it so hard is that he didnt live his full life and died so young Patty, yes, Brittany is a gorgeous place.

| Looks like your little one 'loved' that beach - which makes it the perfect place to scatter his ashes. I am from Hawaii and have gone to many memorial services and the ones at the beach have always been the most peaceful for me - it seems that whenever I go back to those spots I can feel their spirit - so much better than a graveyard or crypt. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you do your memorial and let go of your little love. He will always be there in spirit for you and I'm sure he would want his momma to be at peace

| I think so, it was his first and last vacation and also the place he had the most freedom to be himself. Dogs cant run so freely where I live and the beach was pretty much our own, hardly a soul most of the time, so it was perfect, they both enjoyed it so much. Now you see why my little Bandit is missing his buddy |

Thank you so much hon, yes, the beach also bring tranquility and peace to me. It is like when you are there the whole world you leave behind stops and this is the only world that exists. Yes, cobo loved it there very much, we all did.

| Those are wonderful pictures and a beautiful place for him. I'm crying for you (literally) right now. There's a quote by Roger Caras that goes: "Dogs are not our whole lives, but they make our lives whole". I think it's a great quote, but for me personally, my dogs ARE my whole life- I love them so much until there's no more room in my heart, and I know from posting, reading and talking to everyone on this forum, we all seem to feel the same way about our dogs, no matter what breed, age, gender, etc. My heart goes out to you |
