I haven't been on here much this week. I've felt miserable! I've been sick since Monday evening. Tonight I have a fever of 104, no voice, and weak. Since I have high blood pressure it's messing it all up too. My pulse was 140.

Hubby called the ER and they said that usually they don't ask anyone to come in unless their fever is 106. I hate this! I feel so helpless. Hubby and my mom has had to take care of my son for the past two days. My hubby isn't being very sensitive either. He thinks I should be still doing the laundry and what not. I'm so annoyed.

I am sorry you are so sick! That must be miserable! Hope it doesn't last long.

I am so sorry you are not feeling well. 104 is VERY HIGH for an adult! You need to rest and drink lots of fluid. I think you should see your family doctor tomorrow am if you are still running a fever. Here is hoping you get well soon.

wow you must have that bad bug thats been going around

you need to get a zpac from your doctor and that should kick it out i had it not to long ago
im sure your weather hasnt been any better then ours i think its like 8 here right now.2 days ago it was like 45.well any way i hope your feeling better soon

Well I went to the doctor today and my fever wasn't quite as high, 101. They said I had blisters all down my throat and it was strep throat. I got some medicine.

Hopefully it nips it fast. My parents are being a huge blessing to me tonight as they said they would keep my son so I can rest.

is there a "walk in" or "minute clinic" somewhere near you? they are usually really good about seeing people quickly. I have a really great one near me...in fact, I go to him as my regular doctor now. anyway...if the ER won't see you...maybe you should look into that. some drug stores have them too. it's worth a shot...and usually cheaper than the ER...and most of them take insurance.

Yeah, I actually don't have any medical insurance being I am self employed and hubby is still in school and the Dr. I go to is really good about working with people with no insurance. The hospital said it would cost $500 to even let me back there and for an office visit today I only paid $45. I didn't think that was that bad.
