| Ebay Drama!!! Ughhhh So I just won an Xbox 360 on Ebay. Well I paid yesterday for it. Now I just received an email saying that the seller had lost his selling privileges. Ebay also said in the email that if I had paid, then I should try to get my money back. Does anyone know what might have caused Ebay to revoke his selling rights? This person had 100% ratings and responded to every question I had. He sold plenty of other Xbox's and always had 100% feedback. I'm not sure exactly why he got in trouble. I sent him an email about it. I basically said since I paid, I'll give him 10 days for me to receive the Xbox. If I don't get it by then, I'm filing a claim. |

| I had the same problem before Christmas. I was the highest bidder on an Xbox 360 and the seller had a very high rating. So I thought it was safe. Well luckily I didn't pay for it yet when I received the email from Ebay. They wouldn't say why I shouldn't pay for it or what the person did. But he was selling a lot of 360s on Ebay. He never sent me an email or anything asking me to pay. So I jsut went to Target and bought one. I will not bid on anything like that on Ebay again.

| Keep in min d that the letter you recieved MAY or MAY NOT really have been from ebay. I have seen spoof emails supposedly from ebay that really were spoof emails from a competitor seller on ebay.

| Yea. Thankfully I paid with Paypal. It gives me his full name and address. All I did was google it and found his number. HAHA! I still can't believe I called him. Oh well. It was alot of money. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Hope this worked out well for you. After six years of buying on eBay, I had my first bad experience over the holidays -- with a Christmas present. Big bummer but I just got an email on Friday saying that PayPal had ruled in my favor on the claim I filed. Now I wait and see if there was enough money in the seller's PayPal account to cover it ... Seller was jerk. Totally nonresponsive until after I'd started the resolution process and it was only to criticize me! |
