| To YT Military Families I just noticed on another thread that we have several people on YT who have family serving in Iraq. I wanted to send out a big thank you to the men and women serving our country and a big hug to the families who are back here waiting for their loved ones to come home. If there ever is anything I can do....listen, pray, chat....please pm me and let me know. I could organize drives for cards or care packages. Anything. I am just so grateful for all the sacrifices you and your families are doing for me.

| My nephew will be leaving next month for his 2nd tour in Iraq. He spent over a year in the heart of the fighting in Baghdad - he is a Bradley Tank gunner and commander. He has been training in Germany for a year for something he can't tell us about, nor can he say where he will be, but it will be bad. We are all so proud of him. He is only 21. I was raised in the military, saw my Dad go to war in Korea and leave on a moments notice when there were uprisings in Beirut, and have lost family because of wars, so i know how scared all the families of our men and women who are putting their lives on the line for our freedom are. Our soldiers are living in horrid conditions fighting for their lives while we sit here with our feet up, watching tv, sipping on something good. It is because of them that we can enjoy our freedom. They deserve more ThankYou's and Respect than they will ever receive. I think the care packages and letters are a wonderful idea. There are some troops that have no family to send them reminders that they are appreciated. A group of retired NYC Firemen that I used to work with gets names and addresses of soldiers and sends them boxes. Sorry, I get carried away when it comes to war. To all of our troops who are in harm's way - Be Brave, Be Safe and God Bless you all.

| Gotta Love the Military. I have always supported our troops especially after my best friend (now fiance) and a few other close friends joined the Air Force, Marines and Navy after graduating high school. Even with that I never really knew what it meant to truly support them until I moved up to Alaska and spent time on base. I've met some amazing men and women up here and one day I realized, these are the same people that are fighting for us all over the world. All of these people are someone's son, daughter, husband, wife, mom, dad, cousin, best friend. And they do it not because they have to...because they want to. That, to me, is just amazing and I cherish everyday with the friends I have made here. I now, more than ever, know what it means to love and support our troops. "Live everyday like they are deploying tomorrow."
