| have one and love it! i got it this summer and will never go back to a PC again... you don't need a Pro.. it's just more money and a regular macbook does so many things.. half of which i'm sure i haven't figured out yet |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i have a mac book pro and i LOVE it. I've had it for a little over a year and have not had a problem at all. Now when i had my dell laptop i had so many problems within the first couple of months. I got my mac book pro refreshed so it was cheaper. Someone basically bought it, opened the box and decided to return it. So since it was opened the price was taken down a few hundred.

| a macbook will do just fine for you. if you were doing a lot of graphics, movies, or something like that, you would want to pro. but you can get a macbook and be just fine. and if you decide you need more space, the hard drive on the macbook is very easy to upgrade. and it is very inexpensive to add more memory too.

| Get a Macbook but add extra RAM. I do internet, photoshop, and run WinXP with bootcamp and it was slow with 1GB but great with 2GB. I like the small size of the Macbook. If you need a larger screen then consider the Pro.

| I've used Macs since 1989 - yes, my first was a dinasaur Mac and I have never had not one single problem with any of them (I'm on my fourth one). I have an iBook - would like to get the Mac Book and probably will one of these days. I don't think you can ever go wrong with ANY Mac - but then, I'm biased!
