| Bare Mineral Make-up... Does anyone use this or any other type of mineral make up? I've been really interested in it, but its expensive and I dont want to buy it without researching it. I noticed there are a few different brands. What do you think is best? How well does it cover? TIA! |

| I have used it for years. (so have my daughters) It is a great make-up and I think it really looks natural. If you are a person that likes a heavier make-up, it is probably not for you. I think it covers well and stays on well. The mineral veil is very good to dust on over top and I think it kind of "seals" everything and makes its look fresh.I also use "warmth" to give me a little "sun-kissed" look. I think that you can buy it on QVC and they have a great return policy. You may want check with them.

| Is QVC the only way you can buy it?

| No, there is a store here called "Ulta" that also carries it.

| I've used this for about 2 years now, and I LOVE it! It's very natural looking and covers up very well. I bought the start up kit through the Bare Minerals website. When I was finished with that, I bought the larger ones at Ulta & Macy's for about $20-25 each. |

YT 2000 Club Member | I use the i d bareMinerals. I have just had it for a little over a month now and I love it! You feel like you do not have make up on at all but your skin looks great! I also have had less break outs sense I started using it. I bought a start up kit at a Sephora store. They have ian online store too but I would recommend having them put it on you first, that way you can see what shade works best for your skin color.

| id Bare Minerals is fabulous makeup. I've used it for 7-8 years now. My 85 year old mom and 30 year old daughter use it. It is so light and I get compliments on my 56 year old, badly sun damaged skin all the time. One tip. I have large pores on my nose, so I put on the foundation with a makeup sponge (not damp, just dry). That trick seems to minimize the large pores on my nose. Then I use the brush to put on warmth. I think that warmth is absolutely the best. It just sets off your face. I hardly know anyone who doesn't like it - but if you can, maybe you should go to Ulta or Sephora and get an employee to make up your face and show you the products. If you can't do that, then you could order or buy from some place that you can return (like QVC). I think you will love it, but you are right, it is expensive (but it lasts FOREVER) so if you don't like it, you could return it. Just to reiterate, the makeup seems expensive, but you use just a tiny bit each day so it last a long long time. After the initial expense, it is really quite inexpensive. Do not use more than recommended or it will not look as good. You are supposed to look like you are not wearing makeup and if you use it correctly, that is the way you will look. Also, don't be afraid of the glimmery eyeshadow - I wear it and it is beautiful. Again, just a touch will do - oh and use bisque under the eyeshadow. You can also use bisque on any blemishes. But then again, you can also just use a dot of foundation directly on the blemish - it will completely cover it.

| I tried it about a year ago. I found the site online. probably just bareminerals.com or something like that. I was not happy with it myself. I do sell Mary Kay and have been relatively happy with those products but saw one of the 30 minute infomercials and thought I'd like to try it - it really seemed amazing. I know a lot of people are really happy with it but I guess I just didn't have good luck and I wound up returning it. Mary Kay is even coming out with their version of it and I'm interested in trying it as well but haven't yet. |

| There is another thread going with the same info. You might try searching. I use it and I love it. It took awhile to get used to not having that cakey foundation on my face.

| We have a Bare Escentuals store in the mall and Ulta also carries it. If you go into one of the stores, they'll do a makeover on you and you can see what you think. I'm postive you'll walk out with a purchase! It's pretty amazing stuff! I wish the coverage just a little better though. I have so many freckles! |

| If you haven't already, try putting the foundation on with a makeup sponge, rather than the brush. I have very bad brown spots on my cheeks, and I find the makeup sponge covers much better than the brush. I use a brush to put on warmth or blush.

| I'm going to Sephora when I get paid to check it out. I called and they are going to actually apply it and help me figure out which color is best. I was wondering since I have dark circles, if I wear a regular liquid concealer under the BE, would it look funny??? |
