| house hunting I am so excited to be looking for a new house. we LOVE the house we are in now, but we both agreed we wanted something bigger when we have a baby. sooooo....with one comes the other we found a house we both love but it is pretty expensive. but it has 5.43 acres which is exactly what I am wanting. it has 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 2 half baths, bonus room, loft (that has walk in closets), formal LR, formal DR, 2 car garage, LARGE deck, finished basement/work shop, walk in attic. I just love it. the sellers seem to be really needing to sell. They dropped the price 20k and withdrew the listing once it expired. So we are thinking we will offer them what we think they need to get out of it and go from there. we would have to do a lot of deco work...there is wall paper in the DR and border in the kitchen that we don't like. I also do not care for white cabinets but that can be changed over time. I can live with it for a while. A lot of the rooms are a bright blue color...we would have to do something about that LOL also, it has a lot of wood floors which is great. The LR has carpet so we would probably change that out. i dont' know if this will work out but we have been saying we want to live on this street, and this is perfect size and acreage. so, we will see what happens cross your fingers for us

| What a great place. I agree I'm not the biggest fan of their decor, but if I were a little kid I'd love to grow up in a house like that. And if I were a yorkie, I'd love it too! More room for more yorkies!

| What a great house!! They must be major Tenn. Titan's fans to paint the walls that color, though. Very easy to change. I love the overlook from upstairs. I have one similar. We lived in a single story house with a basement until last May and my yorkies would NEVER venture down the basement stairs, so we thought they wouldn't climb the stairs at the new house....oh contrare! The first things those two little rats did was run up the stairs. We had to put a gate in front of the stairs. The main level of the house has all solid floors (one of my requirements with dogs) wood and tile floors, except the master bedroom which is also gated. Sounds like this house would work great for you!
