| I take this recipe to a lot of functions: Calico Beans 9 slices of bacon (diced) 1 lb of hamburger 1 cup chopped onions 1 clove of garlic Saute all this together then add: 1/2 cup catsup 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 tb dry mustard salt and pepper to taste 2 tb of vinegar Heat all this together then add 1 large can of campbells pork & beans 1 can of kidney beans 1 can of lima beans or use butter beans (drain this can of beans) Bake in over 350 degrees or you can simmer on top of stove for about 45 minutes or until it gets as thick as you want.
