| It is cold it is so very very cold. It is 19 degrees right now. It is not supposed to get this cold in the south. I have the heat on, my jammies on, socks, slippers, and a bathrobe and I'm wrapped up in a comforter and am STILL freezing! Brrrrrrrrrrr! All the furbutts are snuggled under the covers sleeping. S'anah didn't even want to come out to get breakfast this morning.

| It's been freezing here in NY where I live. There is so much ice in my development it's hard to walk. It does look beautiful at night. All the grass has about 3"of ice on it and the moon shining on it looks like a marshmallow world. Trouble is the deer can't walk anywhere except the paths and Buddy and I walk into them at night and he barks and scares them off. I hope it warms up today and melts some of this ice. Keep warm. |

Therapy Dog Donating Member | Welcome to my world..yuck..I hate the cold and snow and wouldn't wish that on anyone....but I am surprised that in Georgia it gets that cold. Make yourself some hot tea or hot chocolate and snuggle up with your babies. If I could move to warmer weather I would in a heartbeat.

Funny....well, not actually FUNNY, but interesting...I just had a short discussion with dh the other day when we saw some footage on the news of all the blowing snow and the car pile-ups back East and he said "WHY would anyone live in that?"....and I said (in ALL my vast insight ) "Well, probably b/c they're USED to it and they don't MIND it"d. I guess, not so much, eh? I did add, "and it's probably BEAUTIFUL there during the Spring and Fall .

| It was 20 degrees this morning at 7:00 AM. Suppose to get up to 40...yeah, we'll see. I hate the winter time...mostly the snow. I slipped gettng out of the school bus yesterday and hurt my hip..big knot, terrible bruise. My son graduates 2009 and then I'm moving. Does Georgia have snow? I really don't mind the cold so much, just the snow and ice.

Last Thursday I was one of those unlucky ones who got caught trying to make it home during the snowstorm. A drive that usually takes me about 20 minutes took me 4 hours ! | |

| Thankfully GA does NOT have snow. Every now and then we get occasional flurries, but down here the term "flurries" means somewhere someone THINKS they may have seen one single snowflake and everybody better hurry up and buy up all the milk and bread just in case.

| Yep Georgia and surrounding areas have been under a freeze watch. It was COLD last night and today... I have on my chenille winter socks and a long sleeve. I've had to run the heat off and on today. It was so cold yesterday morning Cody refused to go to the bathroom. I had to take a paper to the office today so me and him were bundled up! But it's been weird weather. cold one minute and warm the next. it doesn't feel like christmas until it's cold |

sounds kind of like our weather people here . I've come to the conclusion that they say what they think will either KEEP more people here or BRING more people into town for the revenue .....
