| Well it is just not my week...the nerve! You all know it's about the time where we all gain weight and then towards the end of December look in the mirror and tell ourselves okay time to shed those Thanksgiving and Christmas cookie lbs that we've gained...well I'd been feeling pretty bad about the 10-15lbs I've gained since thanksgiving and granted I've been alot hungrier because I've been training for a traithlon and although I know I need to lose the weight I want to do it in a healthy way... Well, I went to get my haircut to try and make myself better and the hairstylist I've been seeing for years whom I should mention I always tip well told me "OH MY GOSH you've gained sooo much weight! I hardly recognize you!" ok ladies, I'm 5'7 and I weigh 134lbs...good grief I wear a size six, I feel so bad for our teenage girls, I'm not that over weight...We have to create good role models so that they don't become victims of anorexia and bulemia...oh man oh man...it's just not my week!! Oh well...back to the treadmill I go... P.S. Tell your mother, daughter, or sister she looks great today!

| At 5' 7" and only 134 lbs, you must look perfect!!! The nerve of that woman! I'm the same height with a little more extra padding than you, I'd love to be 134 lbs! You are not at all over weight, be proud. |

| Geeze...how rude! You can't be fat at 134 lbs and 5'7". I just want to know if you're training for a triathlon, how did you gain that much weight, LOL? I hope it's all muscle . I'm a former triathlete and had to be careful I didn't lose too much weight when I was training . In fact, that's the best part of being a triathlete, LOL..you can eat just about anything . Which tri are you training for?

| I'm 5'4 and somewhere between 125 and 130 too...there is no way the OP is fat..and how rude of your hairdresser to tell you that you've gained so much weight. People need to mind their own business anyway

| there is no way you are "fat" and she should concentrate on your hair and not being rude (especially at Christmas time and holiday tipping) ... bad move on her part. You have probably gained all muscle if you say you gained 15 lbs. good luck at the tri...

| Wow, first off let me say that in no way are you over weight. Second, even if you had gained a lot of weight (which we've already established you haven't) she should have kept her mouth shut! How completely and utterly rude! I really hope you didn't give her a tip.

| how rude of her!! some people just dont think before they open their mean mouthes!! like everyone else has said, im sure you are a perfect size! im 5'8 and am working to get myself down to around your weight of 130 -134 since i put on about 10 pounds this past year after a battle with cancer and surgery. i dont mind the weight i am now and am by no means fat, but i like to stay fit and just have a few extra wobbly bits right now. |

| Well they've been saying Protein is the best way to go...keeps you fuller longer and for me it's helping my muscle repair after a hard workout...but it's been good for me...I've been doing Whey Protein from Fortress at Walmart, taste like a vanilla shake and has very little fat and carbs and sugar...so if your looking to loose your x-mas and thanksgiving weight (MMMMM foooooddd) then that's the way to go they say! not that I'm any expert here!! HA

| I know how you are feeling. I am 5'1 and in the past month I have gained 10 lbs (total=130), but in no way would I consider myself fat. Just need to get back to my swimming in the mornings. Keep your chin up. Maybe she was just having a bad day. You look wonderful!!!

| Is she jealous, or what? 5'7" - 134, sounds pretty perfect to me. I hope you kept a portion of her tip and went right to Ben & Jerry's and treated yourself to a Hot Fudge Sundae! She needs a brick up side o' her head - that was so totally rude.
