| Who works out? I love working out, I used to hate it, then last summer I got really into running and now I lovvve to work out. I was just wondering who works out? And what kind of workouts do you do? I usually run or do the eliptical 3-5 times a week, and have recently started to do weight training. I used to do Pilates a lot, but got a little burnt out on it. But I am sure I'll pick it back up sooner or later. Anyone else? |

| I work out everyday. I wieght train with light weights 4 days a week. Run 2 times, 5 miles each a day, do yoga every day, and I swim 800 meters 3 times a week. Sometimes on the weekends I will go for bike rides also. But I train for marathons and triathalons and I am obsessive about my wieght so I watch everything that goes into my body also. |

| I'm out of shape I enjoy working out, but I am a horrible procrastinator. "I'll start back working out tomorrow," I tell myself. Always tomorrow. *sigh* However, I am a certified professional swimming instructor and have taught all sorts of classes, all ages from newborn parent/tot classes to 60yr old women! My heart really lies in swimming instruction and I wish I lived in a city that brought in better business. I used to work full time for myself as a swimming instructor in Charleston, but since moving to Tennessee, water safety isn't as important to residents here, nor is the average household income as high...which is ok, but I do miss being fought over! Until May, I worked out at the college gym on my spouse membership...but my husband graduated in May, and there went my state-of-the-art gym membership, grrr! They also had an olympic sized pool I used to do laps in twice a week!!!! So these days I'm sadly out of shape. BUT, I'm looking for a good workout video - any suggestions? I want something fairly short to fit in my schedule but something that would have a good cardio workout. (I can do stretches and weights, etc. on my own.)

| As odd as it may sound, the stripper work out is really great. It makes you aware of parts of your body you didn't know you had. Its interesting to hear that you are a swim instructor. I am finding more and more that you and I have in common. Because I too am a swim instructor. I teach the girls high school swim team here in the fall. I used to be on the high school team and in college i was on the team too. |

What were your best strokes? Mine were free and backstroke...I despised backstroke but I was strangely good at it....and won a lot. I just hated getting water in my nose going backwards. Swimming is really the best workout. I assistant-coached a high school swim team two years ago and really got to focus on the workout as well as stroke refinement, which is my specialty in teaching. The main coach taught the advanced swimmers, and I worked with the beginners. They made awesome progress and I just loved every minute of it. I'm learning so many things now, at 23, that I wish I knew I'd want to do for a living when I started college. This degree I have now won't get me very far in photography, dog training, computer graphic imaging and swim coaching, haha!!! Oh and the stripper workout, I heard was great! One of my freinds told me about it and I was like WHAT? lol. I'll have to give it a try.
