| Holiday Parking Lot Rules! I saw this and I thought yall would get a laugh out of it, especially with all the crazy drivers out there!! HOLIDAY PARKING LOT RULES! 1) If you pass an open spot, you cannot 'back up' to get it. Once it's passed, it's a free space again. 2) People who walk to their cars to put packages away, must let cars waiting for their spot what their intentions are. (don't make them wait, when you knew all along that you were not leaving, but just putting packages away. 3) When you get into your car to leave & people are waiting for your spot. You must leave within 2 minutes. 4) Taking up more than one spot is strictly prohibited! 5) If two cars are waiting for the same parking spot, the car that arrived 1st gets the spot. Regardless if the car backing out of the spot blocks the car that arrived 1st from entering right away. 6) If you pull into an open spot and you find out the spot in front of you is open and there is no parking blocks, you can not pull forward. 7) No 'backing' into parking spots 8) If two people arrive at an open parking spot at the same time, the first one to use their turn signal gets it. 9) Going the wrong way in parking lots with "one-ways" is strictly prohibited. 10) When waiting for a parking spot to open, you must give the person backing out enough room to do so. 11) You are responsible for your own shopping cart.....RETURN it. Do not leave it in a parking spot or where it can damage other cars. 12) No 'stalking': following pedestrians back to their parking spots. 13) No Human's can reserve or hold a parking spot!!!

| LOL! thats funny. thanks for sharing!! I hate going shopping for those reasons. It's so HARD to get a spot. and what makes me madder than anything is people going down or up the wrong aisle. OH and the biggest thing is. your sitting there with your turn signal on waiting for the spot the person is getting ready to leave out of. they know ur waiting and they just take their sweet time. C'MON WE ARE WAITING |

| Yeah we saw lots of people backing up over the weekend. One lady had a stroller full of kids and you couldn't tell if she was getting in or out, so the car in front of me pulled forward, backed up, pulled forward, backed up... UGH. And of course she was not even leaving. I am doing most of my shopping online or in our little downtown. I'm not interested in braving the big box marts, and we don't have kids that need toys so they aren't offering any gifts I want anyway.

| I totally agree with all of those rules, except #3. It's my space until I leave it! I hate when people honk out of impatience. Especially when you have to load kids in and out of the car. |

The only one I don't agree with is the "no stalking" rule. When you can't find a spot anywhere, sometimes the only way to find one is to follow someone to their car

I hate when people sit there and wait for you, especially if they are rude enough to honk. Stop being lazy, drive a few places down (walking a few extra feet isn't going to hurt you) and park there cause I am sitting here until I get adjusted and am ready to leave! A parking lot is HUGE and chances are, my parking place isn't the only one in the entire lot. You're just to lazy to walk.

| i agree with others about rule #3. If I need to finish a (reasonably lenghted) conversation, adjust my mirrors, write something down so I don't forget it, etc. I will. Hanging out chatting on the phone for 10 minutes is not cool, but if I need 3-4 minutes to get myself ready to go, tough cookies! |

| For the most part, I try to get out of the spots as quickly as possible cause I know if stinks to wait. But..if someone starts honking at me, you better believe I will find something to do for another 5 mins or so!
