| Should I go or stay? My husband is being transfered to Tx. We are now just getting the house on the market and he is suppose to be there by August. His company has left the entire transfer to us, they give us money and we use how we need to to get there. The only thing is the market is not the best where we live. I haqve the choice of staying here until the house sales, or finding a house in TX to rent, and allow my kids to start the school year off there unstead of transfering them after school starts. Either way my husband and I are going to be in seperate houses. If I go to TX he stays with the house if he goes I stay with the house. What should I do?

| Wow, you sure are faced with a tough choice. If I may ask how old are your kids? Moving isn't half as hard on young kids as it is on the older ones. I was faced with the same thing as your going through 4 years ago. I chose to go and 3 weeks later was 9/11 so I was saddled with rent plus the house payment on a house that just didn't look like it would ever sell. I was making dual payments on everything and going to the poor house in a hurry. Luckily we finally did sell at a big loss but if I knew then what I know now I personally would have stayed put until the future was a little more clear. Good Luck...my thoughts and best wishes are with you!

| If I were you, I would let the kids start school - it is important for them to get a good start Thanks for being a great mom!

Those first few weeks of being new would be easier at the beginning of the year rather than waiting... you know how the little cliques start to form in the beginning, sports team's try outs, etx... its harder to transistion later in the year. I had to switch schools a few times when I was a kid bc we moved locally and I hated when my parents pulled me out in the middle once... not to mention how hard it is getting caught up on the schoolwork mid-year.

| I would agree that it's important for the kids to be able to start the year in their new school. Either way, you have a tough decision. Hope things go smoothly for you all. Keep us posted.
