| what should I get???? My daughter wants a camera for christmas. We were looking at all the "kid" cameras (digital) but they all seem like crap...for lack of a better "word". any suggestions for a camera that is less than $100 that I could get for her? I want something with a flash, and that takes the memory cards. Also would like it to have decent megapixels...probably 3 or more. any ideas????

| I personally love Kodak cameras. I got one for Christmas when I was a soph or junior in hs (about 5 years ago maybe 6), that was less than $100 and it was 3 megapixals... It has lasted me all this time. I can still use it and it works great, but I just recently upgraded to another kodak camera because they are so much slimmer now. My lil sis has a kodak, she got it for christmas last year and it was under $100. I've seen kodaks in the papers here for under $100 at lots of places too! They're tough, and well worth the money. Plus, they are easy to operate!

| she is only 6. but she uses my camera ALL THE TIME. she takes great pictures, and really enjoys the options of the view screen and stuff like that. I don't want to spend a lot of money because she is only 6...but i don't want to get her a "disney" camera..because i think that takes away from why she likes mine so much...she likes to feel grown up...and like she is getting something important. example: she has some "kid" cell phones. some that are really just toys but look real. she wants NOTHING to do with them. then...a guy at the verizon store gave her one of the little green cell phones made for kids that really works, only this one had no "insides", it was a display model. at first, she loved it but quickly got to where she didn't like it, she would always ask for a regular phone with all the numbers. So, I ended up giving her one of my old sprint cell phones that i never use anymore. she LOVES it. she really feels like she has a real phone now. so i want something that is more like a grown up camera, but not one of the nicer, expensive jobs...make sense???

| I just bought my 9 yr old cousin a Hannah Montana digital camera on ebay. It is a disney clicks pix. Just be careful when buying a digital camera for kids to make sure it has a flash and a LCD screen. Many of them don't. A lot of people I know are buying cameras this year for their kids and they are just buying cheaper cameras that are actually made for adults. You lose the ruggedness of a child's camera but probably get more features in return.

Yes, I'm finally starting to feel better, thanks for asking. I was pretty depressed this morning because I still felt sooo bad and was wondering if I would be sick forever but then I finally started to feel better this afternoon so I'm hoping the worse is behind me!
