| i get those too... but not for the same reason. When i was a kid (up until i probably 19) we had HUGE family gatherings at our house... 40-50 people would come by and "Santa" would too. it was such a warm and filling feeling. Now we have moved, family has moved... family has died.. and it is usually just my mom my dad and i in florida. This year my aunt and uncle and two cousins are coming so i'm hoping that will bring back the "family" feeling |

| I have gotten them for the last 8 years but, my Father died Dec. 7, 1999 so it is hard for me to get into the christmas spirit. Until, this year my family has lived over 1000 miles away, my mother and brother are now within an hour of me so I am hoping that will help. As much as I love my Mother-in Law it is not the same as my own family. |

| Up until about 30 years ago we had lots of family, cousins, etc.....but then we moved away plus I said as long as Santa came he was coming to our house and anyone who wanted to was welcome. So basically it's just been our immediate family for the last 30 years. That has grown to include spouses and grandkids....and thats what matters. Maybe we're not 30-40 but we are a very close knit 10!...The only blues I have is NO money.

| Well, I have an 11 year old son so having him makes me really love Christmas time but 4 years ago this Christmas my Dad passed away and now there seems to be a dark cloud over Christmas!! My Dad was the most perfect father to his kids and a perfect husband to my mom!!! He was just an unbelievable person and we really miss him!!!

| I usually don't get them till after Christmas. That's when I'm totally exhausted and everything hits me at once.

| Christmas Blues I think I am starting to get them due to lack of time. I always have big plans and never have the time to do what I would like. I haven't been able to bake cookies for a few years. I am already dreading getting all the stuff out to put out. I am gone 50-60 hours a week. There;s cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, paying bills etc on my days off. You would think my husband woulb be more helpful. We have Christmas for his family and about 30 show up. I love Christmas. I just wish there were more of me to get every thing done. UGHH!!! |

| I haven't been with my family for Christmas in 10 years . We are a big family and Christmas is always fun there in Mexico. It makes me sad that I haven't been there for X-mas in so long, but I don't want to leave hubby here with his Mom and Dad and no one else since he is the only child. Work is always the reason why we don't go to Mexico. I usually have to work Christmas eve and the day after Christmas. Hubby gets all those days off and PIL are retired, but I don't think is fair for them or my family in Mexico just to go for 1 or 2 days and leave. In other words, yes, I get the Christmas blues.

| I've got 'em. It's not the same since my husband died in Oct of '05. I don't remember much about Christmas that year, but last year was incredibly sad for me. It looks like this year won't be much different.
