| Moving to Nashville Hello, After being in Detroit the majority of my life, I've finally decided to move to another state for something new. See, I was recently laid off and took it pretty hard...I loved my job but due to budget cuts...like always, they let me go. I planned on moving before but stayed because of this job. So now, I realized that this is my opportunity to uproot. I'm young, single, with no kids...well except for Izzy...but he's portable! And I have nothing holding me back here...so why not? If I dont like it I can always come back. My mother lives in Nashville and has been trying to get me to come for 6 years..she loves it down there. I didnt want to originally because I wasnt sure if a single person would fit in down there. Im going to visit next week for Thanksgiving, to see what it has to offer. I also have a couple of job interviews set up for next week. Is there anyone from the Nashville area that can give me some insight on what to expect? My mom can a little but, her situation is different than mine because she is married...LOL

| Did you see that someone else just posted today that they are moving to Nashville?? I think they posted in the regional forum -- too funny everyone wants to go to Nashville. I've been there quite a few times over the last year -- as my daughter chose that town to go to start college in this fall! I keep threatening to move there too - I like what I've seen. Which includes a lot of young people. pepe mint lives there -definitely talk with her!! Best wishes for a great move.

| You will love Nashville! I live about 4 hours away and visit there often. We have an Office in Nashville and Columbia so I'm there every once in a while. Almost every where you go in Tennessee is a nice place, everyone is so warm and friendly. |
