| Been on a MISSION today!!!! Giving it ALL away!! I have been on a mission today to clean out everything I can find!!!!!!! I am so tired of not being able to find anything because of all the junk I have been hanging on to. I took 16 bags trash bags full to Goodwill today and I still have more to take that I did not have room for in my SUV (3 TV's, 2 computers and about 4 more trash bags of stuff....I am actually donating these items to a family that their house burned) This is only the beginning!!!!! When we moved to this house we downsized majorly. (we built our last house with intention of having at least 4 kids but God only blessed us with one) For some reason I had kept everything from our last house. I guess I thought I would eventually use all that stuff. But after 3 years of being in our new smaller house ....ALL that stuff was sitting in closets and in my storage room....I said, NO MORE!!!! I already feel so much better!!!! But like I said, I am just getting started....I have not even gotten to a huge room over our gargage!!! It is packed with stuff....it will take me several days to get through that room. Look at my SUV it was packed!! I took pictures of it because I knew my DH would never believe me that I actually took that much to Goodwill. Anyway just thought I'd tell ya'll how hard I have been working today!!! I figured its the season for giving so I a giving it ALL away!!!!!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | That's great. My husband and I have been going thru every thing and took 12 bags so far to the Salvation army and lots more went in the garbage. It is such a good feeling to get rid of the clutter.I have new rule if I buy a new shirt I have to put an old one in the donation bag.

| I've been doing that for the last few years and still am not done! It does feel great when its out and you have so much more space in your house, and think to yourself "WHY did I not do this sooner??". Well at least you know some people that could really benefit from it.

What got me motivated was the news of a family with 3 kids that their house burned. They lost everything and I new that I had so much stuff they could probably use. I had boxes and boxes of linens....so many sets of sheets, tons of towels & wash cloths, blankets, complete bedding, mattess covers, etc.... So much stuff that was doing no good to anyone all boxed up. Hopefully, they can use all the stuff I took to them. Plus I still have more to take to them.

I repainted my living room a few months back so when I went to put everything back in there I didn't want to.... I ended up taking 6 medium sized boxes out of there of junk that was setting around on table tops and hanging on the walls....it felt great! I'm trying to come to terms on whether to sell this antique hutch I took out of there... I love it but I have nowhere to put it. ....
