| How about melting different chocolate bars in nappies (in the microwave) so that they look like baby poo and then getting people to taste them and guess what chocolate bar it was? That one is always very funny |

| Here in South Africa, one of the things they do is: Each of your guests is given a piece of paper on which they must write their name, together with the sex (which you obviously already know), weight and length. When he is born, the closest person to the correct guess wins a prize which you show them at the shower. |

| Baby Shower Ideas 1. Each of your guests is given a piece of paper, they must write their name on it, together with the weight and length they think you little one will be at birth. The closest to the correct guess wins a prize when your little bundle arrives. You buy the gift before hand so they can see what is up for grabs. 2. Each of your guests is given a piece of string. They must each guess using the string, how wide you are around your tummy. The closest guest wins a prize. Last edited by JoanneV; 11-13-2007 at 02:05 AM. |

| diaper raffle have each guest bring a package of diapers-in different sizes and then just put their names in a bag and choose one as the winner...they get a prize and you get a ton of diapers that you will need!! We also always play the cotton ball game. have the person sit in a chair with a bowl of cotton balls on their lap and blindfold them and then have them spoon the cotton from their lap to a bowl on their head that they are holding. It is hilarious to watch because you can't feel if you have any or not, thinking you have a lot in the bowl on your head and sometimes you only have 1 or 2...LOL cute game! good luck with your shower and congrats on the baby!

| I just threw a baby shower for my sister, here's the run down: We played baby shower bingo(I purchased this online). We also played a game where I gave them a list of animals and you had to write down what the name of the baby is. For instance, an Ant baby is an antling, a baby cow is a calf. I had a huge list and it was surprising how much fun that was. I gave everyone a baby shaped soap to take home with a little tag on it that said "From our shower to yours, a baby(soap) of your very own" I bought lots of really good prizes, not cheap little things. Washcloth sets, baking sheet liners, bath set, gourmet candy. The more prizes the better! For food we had chicken salad on croissants, rainbow italian pasta salad, seasoned oyster crackers, marshmellow fruit salad, cheese ball and some butter mints for fresh breath and of course cake. I had two different ones because my sister wanted chocolate but I wasn't sure everyone would want that so I had a white cake with raspberry filling also. It was a lovely shower but I was so darn glad when it was over! I did the whole thing myself and I was ex-haus-ted!
