| I'm So Frustrated! Eveyone at my office knows how much I love my girls. There are a few Canine Crazy people at my work too... So knowing this, one co-worker keeps telling me how her little 1-year old Chiwawa is shedding, barking at night and she can't stand it anymore and have to get "Rid" of him. But "Oh, I Love him so much!" - how can you complain about a dog you love??? She's looking for sympathy but I can't give it to her. I tried to let her know in subtle ways that I'm not the person who she should be complaining about her Chi to. But everytime I hear "Gotta get Rid" I just want to give her a good tongue lashing! I kept on using the term "Re-home" and she kind of picked up on it but... Sorry all, I just had to vent! I just feel so bad for the Chi that is obviously not wanted and is suddenly finding himself from sleeping on the bed to being put in a crate in the bathroom... I'd take him but he's not fixed and neither is Jen.... I've never even seen a picture of him.

| that's aweful...it's a dog...it will shed and will bark! People really need to think before they go out and buy a pet. I mean shedding and barking are just obvious dog-related things that are bound to happen (unless you get a low-shedding/non-shedding dog). That just makes me really angry. I would have asked her how she didn't know dogs barked and shed before she got one...dumb dumb dumb

| Me Too! When people say "I have to get rid of my dog" it sounds like they're just throwing it out like a bag of trash.

| This same thing happened to me not to long ago. It really pisses me off. That animal didnt choose you, you chose the animal. It makes me just want to kick the person.

| that poor doggie. Some people should not be allowed to purchase pets, I hate when I see an animal not being cared for the way it should be. It is extremely frustrating and heartbreaking. To be complaining about the dog shedding and barking is just ridiculous, these are just things that go along with having a pet. I hope that she rehome's the Chi, it would be better off. Keep us posted on the outcome, I would love to know what this cold-hearted woman decides..uugh. again, poor doggie

| Yes, it is sad to see people give up so quickly on their pups. I too had a co-worker do the same thing last year... Bought a little Chi and because she couldnt train him not to go potty in the house, she had her husband sell it... I dont even think they had it more than a year

| I have a real low tolerance level for people that say they should get rid of a dog simply because of things dogs do thats expected. Would you talk about getting rid of a child. I just dont get people
