| I got a nice prelit one from Walmart last year. It is 6 or 6.5 and it was $30. I'm sure they'll have it again this year. |

| I just gave away a 10' tree and replaced it with a pre-lighted 6' one. It was an absolutely georgeous tree, but I got tired of doing lights ... |

| Start looking at garage sales and paper ads because this is the time of year people start replacing their trees. We always waited till after Christmas to buy trees since they go on sale so cheap. Year before last we got one at Home Depot after Christmas for an unbelievable price of $30.00 for a 7' one. We put it in the sun room last year and decorated it with nothing but dog ornament's. Now the tread mill is in that spot, so I'm not sure if I can even find a place to put it this year. |

Donating YT 11K Club Member | I like the really tall trees. As i grew older our xmas tree started to look smaller and smaller lol By the time i was 17 i was taller than it! Now looking at it i can't believe it was that small and that i was that small! Now at 5'4 i like them to be 6 ft tall cuause i like them taller than me! Just a thought lol

| If you want to go really cheap, sign up for your local freecycle. This time last year, as new trees were coming out in store, many people were getting rid of their old ones for free.
