| Earthquake! Bay Area, CA Did anyone feel the earthquake in Northern CA-Bay Area? It happened around 8:04 p.m. My mom's bed moved back and forth she thought she had a ghost in her room, with Halloween around the cornor, LOL. Then she put on the news and they said San Jose, CA had a 5.6 earthquake. Could she have felt it? We are in Stockton, CA about 2 hours from San Jose.

| I live in San Jose and MAN did we feel it!!! It was so scary. We were downstairs and the babies were in their bedroom upstairs. The whole house was going back and forth and all I could think of was the babies. I ran up and grabbed them in a blanket, then my fiance and I ran outside. That was so scary!!! Everyone else ok out in the bay?? We're ok. Though I gotta go change my pants..lol..but otherwise ok.

| I was driving back from Santa Cruz, I didn't feel anything. So, I missed out on all the action. I'm glad to hear everyone's ok.

| OH my gosh! POOR CA!!! They have not had it too lucky the last 2 weeks huh? well I also heard those Santa Anna winds are picking back up today... hopefully the fires are under control and no hot spots have been ignored or overlooked! I'll be praying for them out there. Did you hear they think one of the biggest fires out there was started by a child playing with matches?? CRAZZZYYY!!! wanted to add... I have felt an earthquake before. It hit upstate NY but I felt it in Northern MA. It lasted about 30 seconds and it was at 7am so I was still in bed. My bed shook slightly for about 30 seconds, at first I thought my roomies cat got into my room and jumped on the bed, but the shaking was consistant and seemed to not go away for awhile, it was almost annoying. I woke up and realized there was nothing there... later that day I heard about the earthquake! I thought I was crazy til I heard it on the news! PHEW!!!
