Groomers in the Boston area Hi everyone. I figured I would get an idea of where you bring your dogs to get groomed in the Boston area. I currently like my groomer but feel I may be paying too much. Just curious who you would recommend. Thanks!

Auburndale Groomers are great! Hi, I absolutely love Auburdale Groomers....Bob is the owner and he is fabulous! Very gentle and doesn't use a harness....my dog is always comfortable there, plus he is reasonable for grooming: $30.....he also doesn't have a crazy place...it seems in control!

Hi - Can I ask a quick follow-up question on the groomers you use in Auburndale? I live down the road in Newton, MA and I have a 4 month old Yorkie puppy. Her ears just fell, my breeder said it was too due to the hair on the ears and I would need to have them taped for a few weeks to get them to stand. Have you used your groomer for Yorkies ears before? I thought maybe I would ask first before I called them - thanks for the tip on the local groomer!

Hi, I have used the groomer before to trim the top third of my yorkie's ears so that they would be lighter and would stand up.....when the dogs are teething, I understand that their ears can fall down...my breeder taped them prior to sending my dog up here at around 4 1/2 months...keeping the ears trimmed helps! This groomer did exactly as I had asked....Hope this answers your question!

Thanks!! I will give that a try - hopfully she wont need her ears taped (they were taped when she was very young too, but just fell). Always good to get recomondations from other Yorkie owners in the area.

| boston groomers... has anyone in the boston area tried Twickenton Dog Grooming in Dedham? its right down the street from my house and shayna is not to far away from her first grooming and i've been a little skeptical about going to Petco (at least the one right near me...) Any other suggestions for near by groomers would be helpful as well!
