| Next Meetup Newburyport or Boston??? I just did a Google on Newburyport and found this: Pet Friendly Places - Newburyport, MA What do you all think? I'm going to search some more and Christina lives a little closer than the rest of us so might be able to check it out but there may be more options for walking/parking/shopping/eating than Boston....just a thought....????

| I am totally bummed I couldn't make it to Plymouth...and it's so close to me too. Dang...I knew that would happen. All the pics of your little cuties were great. There's just no way I can travel very far, so that was my only shot. Still, I'm really glad you guys had a wonderful time and such great weather for it!

| That is really sweet of you, Linda. If, by chance, it all happened to work out, that would be great.

| I'm game for either Newburyport or Boston. I would be willing to take a little trip to check out whats available too. I know Boston Common would be a great place to go.....If we did it on a Sunday afternoon there wouldn't be to much of a parking issue. I've only been to Newburyport once and that was a long time ago. I don't remember much about it.

| If we do it in the summer Newburyport might be a nice option... it has a lot of pet friendly places and a great doggy boutique! I do like Boston but am a bit nervous driving in, I mean I'd do it, but I might need some prozac or a LARGE martini once I get in! LOL

| I got so lost in the North End once, a kindly guy on a motorcycle actually led me out. Now I'd probably be afraid to follow him, lol. Martinis are our friends.

YT Addict | I live in newburyport and work at the Garrison Inn, we are the only pet friendly hotel in the area. The whole town is pretty pet friendly. If you have any questions please let me know... ...and if you decide to come up I would love to meet up at Maudsley State Park with my little Lula!!! |

Linda, any thoughts on this? I am almost at the end of summer and school is starting back up for me in 2 weeks! Do we want to try to fall meetup? I am out of state from Sept 24 - Oct 10 but I could meet up early Sept or mid-late October (while the weather is still warm).

YT Addict | Yay!!! I am actually putting together a Costume Party for Columbus Day weekend. First prize is a night in my pet friendly hotel (garrisoninn.com). the Natural Dog is also participating. Im so excited! If anyone is interested in entering their dog please let me know and I will post the details. I would love to see other yorkies there! My Lula-Mae famous will be one of the judges :P I know 3 other yorkie owners in town, and I'm sure 2 of them would totally be interested in a Yorkie meet up in the area. There are so many possibilities! p.s. I also know of a fenced in tennis court that doesn't have a net up right now so it is not in use. it would be perfect for an off leash play area. again, let me know if anyone is going to be in the area, I would absolutely love to meet with other yorkies and their owners! |
