| New to YT. Need some help... Hey Everyone, I am new to YT. I live just south of Boston. My family and I are looking for a yorkie breeder in the New England area. We are also willing to ship our pup if we can not find a breeder locally. However, we would prefer not to. If anyone could possibly give me some advice on which breeders you would recomend, and also which breeders to stay away from. Also, any other advice would be extremly helpful. This will be our first yorkie baby and our first time working with a breeder (we usually adopt from shelters). I am looking forward to making the new addition to our family! A yorkie pup is the perfect choice! Thank you so much for your time!!!!! -Nikki |

| I would recommend any of the breeders on www.ytca.org -- they are all trustworthy and top breeders. Cheryl Kroll had a boy puppy that is ready to go home February 4th. I ended up getting my little puppy from Maureen Bergin in Connecticut. He is perfect! Good luck! |

| Hi Nikki, welcome to YT. I am also from MA and we purchased our Yorkie last March from a breeder in CT. She was from the YTCA listing. We were hoping to find a pup in MA also but all of the MA breeders from the YTCA listing didn't have any litters available. One of the MA breeders referred us to the CT breeder. It was only a 2 hour drive for us and it was very well worth it. Good luck in your search. Definitely stay away from Country Home Yorkies from Sutton, MA. There is a thread on YT about her. | Try Dumont Kennels in Wallingford , CT . Florence Demers has by far the best yorkies. I bought one a year ago from her. She is wonderful and very knowledgeable. |
