| Veterinarian keeps himself in parked car for 30 minutes with cracked windows! I thought you guys would appreciate this video as much as I did. This veterinarian, as stated in the title, kept himself in his car with the windows cracked on a typical summer day for 30 minutes to have firsthand experience of how dogs feel. Even so, he doesn't have a fur coat and he is able to sweat ... The poor fur babies don't have that luxury! It's heartbreaking, but hopefully it will at least raise a little awareness about people leaving their dogs in the car this summer. Even 5 minutes makes a difference! I never intend on leaving Nilla unattended in the vehicle longer than a couple minutes on cool days (if I need to run in the post office when she's with me), and won't leave her on a hot day, but this makes me feel even less inclined to want to do this! It's a real eye opener! I still see people pulling in to sit down restaurants and cracking their windows to go inside and it kills me inside. | I do feel that being left in a hot confined space without knowing when this torture will end, is worse for a dog than a human. Yorkies are especially vulnerable to heat stroke. I wish more businesses allowed us to carry our small dogs with us. Nobody wants to leave their canine baby at home, and we can't leave them in a car either. |

| What a cute avatar! Also, absolutely think this should be a public service announcement shown frequently on TV. It could save so many, many lives and not just pets' lives.
