| Help with my new yorkie!!! I have had my puppy for 3 weeks from the breeder. He is 3 months old and the first week he had regular poops. Now they have been very runny and often and I think that I saw a little blood. I called the breeder and she said she just got a call from another person who bought my pups brother with the same issue. She said it is a parasite and to feed him only cottage cheese until it goes away. Or I could take him to the vet for a shot but the cottage cheese will take care of it. Has anyone else had this with their puppy and what did you do? Thanks! |

YT 2000 Club Member | If it was me, I would be seeing a vet! Since he is so young and their is blood, you should not take chances that the cottage cheese will take care of the problem! Go to the vet and get a professional & medical opinion! Best wishes and I hope he feels better real soon!

| I would go straight to vet, don't pass go, don't collect $200. I trust modern medicine over cottage cheese any day, besides asking for pancreatitis and malnutrition with nothing but cottage cheese! Also, I would see about sending vet bill to breeder if proven that pup had this when you got him.
