| Training Day Had Moki for 3 1/2 weeks. An Example of his 3-4x a day of training.. I feed him breakfast. Lunch and dinner he must work for. I measure all his food so I know what he eats. If you hear the yes that like clicker training except without the clicker. Its easy. training to go to his towel which will lead to other things. Dang potty training. My last Yorkie took 4 weeks to be pretty reliable. Moki is smart but needs help with that. http://www.youtube.com/my_videos_edi...id=ewQG-c54tU4 |

| The reason it is asking me to create a channel is because I could then edit your video. I don't think you want that to happen. |

| How fun to see you train your little one. He has a glorious tail! Kipper's is docked shorter than that, although it does come above his back an inch or two. Thank you for figuring out how to post the video so a slow learner like me could view it. How much does your puppy weigh? How old is he? Kipper is 21 weeks old tomorrow and weighs just under 4 pounds. His coat has never changed from the deep black on his main body and yet his head has turned to a lighter color. Do you think he will change colors on his body? I wonder how long it takes.... I have taught Kipper how to sit and hop, but haven't been successful at getting him to lie down. He loves get his rewards for what he does. What do you reward your puppy with? I bought some Chummies (salmon treats from Alaska) and Kipper DETESTS them. Thankfully, our mini schnauzer loves them and he will wave happily for a treat. |

| Moki tail is pretty short. ~ 1/2 that is hair. He's 16 weeks on Friday. Under 4 lb. His treat is plaing kibble. The same food I feed. I fed him breakfast and maybe lunch. But If I'm home his lunch and dinner are hand feed through training. I measure his food and monitor his weight. he gets other foods just I try to feed heathier foods. Alot of the treat foods have alot of sugars. But the Zukes I like because seems better. The ingredient anyways. I will use meat when I get to the hard stuff. A Yokies color takes many changes. You may not see the true colors for 3 yrs. Moki likes to work. I'm going to make some weave poles. I know your not suppose to do agility till they are a year old. But weave poles I'm going to teach in to walk through. No jumping stuff till he's a year |

| Do you wait for the jumping because of the knee problems so many Yorkies have? I think it would be fun to train the puppy to go through weave poles. I loved watching another video of a member who had her dog do that. It was absolutely amazing! What a fun hobby! Thank you for answering my questions. Having these little ones is certainly a blessing and has brought much joy to our household. I think I see that in most of the posts here, too! Have fun with Moki. |

| I can't hear you giving him any commands. I hear you talking, but it appears that he is deciding what to do and when to do it? Or are you using hand signals? He looks like a smart pup... I did hear the 'Sit' command once and saw that he quickly incorporated that into his routine, lol. I think saying 'yes' is just as effective if not moreso than a clicker. What happens if you forget to bring the clicker with you or if it breaks?

| That was REALLY cute... what a smart little guy! Now I have major puppy fever.... lol Looks like you were doing a lot of free shaping? I love seeing a dog work their mind by themselves, without being constantly commanded "Sit sit sit sit" lol.

Exactly. We use the clicker too, and I think clicker training is far more effective than a voice or hand command.
