| Savannah and the cicada I didn't let her harm the bug but this is a milestone for my rescue savannah. a few months ago the crunching of leaves were a big fear that would send her running for the hills or cowering in place. she has really not like any toys in the 7 months I've had her but if anyone knows of any that wind up like this bug she might just like that other than her blanket addiction. |

| Try a laser, it mimics the action of something live and they usually go nuts.

| She is so cute. They have those jumpy wind up toys for kids. I'm sure they have them for dogs too.

| She is adorable! Yup, I'm thinking a wind up cat toy too. Or one of those little tiny furry mice toys.

| There's something called a "Weazel Ball" that might work. I think it's actually for kids but would be fine for a dog that didn't tear things up. My Jax loves cicadas, a few months ago when we had them he would eat them up as fast as he could get them. There would be dried cicada husks caught in his beard. It was disgusting. And one time he brought a live one into the house, with the poor cicada squeaking all the way, took it up to the couch then CRUNCHED into it and it finally stopped squeaking. Horrible! But he sure enjoyed it. |

| she's been finding one of these every day now because the apparently die after mating. she did bring one in the house the other night but she didn't crunch it so far so good on that one. I will look into a weasel ball she has done amazing in the 7 months I've had her. toys she's never had by calculations she was crated/caged 4.5 years of her life and everything is so new to her even bugs. Blankets, towels anything like that she can never have enough of those and is very spoiled and wants them all at the same time. My mom sent her receiving blankets and thought that way I'd have extras when they were being washed. she has all 4 of them..lol |

| savannah just discovered bugs and the outside world and so far she hasn't eaten any bugs. she is rather a bit of a wild child and got her bath yesterday. This morning I fix her top knot that she now has enough hair to make a small one and out on her walk she's wanting to roll and rub on the grass all over the place..lol My Binky was such a priss this is an adjustment but fun all at the same time. I'm just thankful I make my bows or this could be expensive...lol |
