Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Tallulah's First Christmas! We had such a fun Christmas with Tallulah! She got quite a few presents from Santa and from our family -- Santa brought her a ball pit like we saw in someone's Yorkie nursery video -- it will be a lot more fun for her when one of her friends comes over to play. George scored major points by making all of my gifts oriented toward Tallulah -- a doggy treat cookbook, a retractable leash (I know, but I didn't have the heart to tell him so I will figure out a way for it to disappear without hurting his feelings), an anti-gulp food bowl, and several other things. And he actually PLAYED with T for a few minutes today. She's finally beginning to win him over. Her favorite gift today turned out to be a ball that makes barnyard and jungle animal sounds when touched. She was a little scared of it at first so we didn't push her, but within a few minutes she was rolling it all over the kitchen and barking like mad. I wanted to share a few minutes of the video we took today to remember this Christmas. Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it, and Happy Holidays to all! Donating YT 500 Club Member | Looks like Tallulah really enjoyed her Christmas. The ball pit must have been a big seller after the "you tube" video because my girls got one as well. Greta's not real sure about it and Bridget just loves getting the balls in the tunnel and chasing them as they roll out. The girls also have the ball that makes animal noises. It can be kind of touchy - I've had it go off if someone slams a door too hard, or I've kicked if I've gotten up during the night and it scares the living daylights out of me and anyone else that's sleeping. Glad you and Tallulah had a wonderful Christmas! She is just adorable!

| I loved watching Tallulah play! She got a lot of nice toys for Christmas. Where did you get the ball that made animal noises? Betty Boop would love that! Thanks for sharing the video.

| Looks like she has a wonderful Christmas day. She's gorgeous, so love the puppy stage. What a great video, sure put a smile on my face. Lila, the ball is a Babble Ball, I have to order them from Amazon, can't buy them around here. Zhoie loves them. She has a blue one that talks and the red/yellow does animal sounds. We order the smallest one and you can get the replacement watch batteries at Walmart. Happy New Year to all.

| Awww, I love Tallulah! So much spunk! She looks like she had a fabulous Christmas. Santa was definitely good to her. Btw, retractable leashes are a good thing to have around, don't know why you would hide it! I love ours for visits to the beach and big open fields, etc. Merry Christmas from Jackson & I!

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I thought that retractable leashes were not the safest for little ones in case of attack... with a "solid" leash you can quickly haul the dog up into your arms (assuming it's wearing a harness that fits properly) and hopefully get it out of harm's way. A retractable one would depend on the user to have the button pushed in to prevent the leash from extending and I'm not sure that I would be level-headed enough to get it right in the case of a real emergency. But then I'm one of those people that insists on at least two barriers between my dog and "freedom" because I'm such a worrier... |
