| Olivia... what a grouch! The Florida Yorkie Rescue just got in a senior female yorkie who does not like to be disturbed from her "beauty rest." She can be such a grouch!!! Actually she is a sweet little girl who just endured major surgery to sort out her health issues. She will be put up for adoption soon. |

| Thanks for the email. Yes, she is a sweet little girl. She was rescued from a high kill shelter where she would surely have been euthanized if we did not go get her. Most people do not want to adopt the senior yorkies which is always sad. She must have been frightened being placed in a steel cage in an environment with so many other barking dogs. She recently had three masses removed and a hernia repair. She had a dental cleaning too and many teeth were pulled but she still has enough to eat with and they saved her front ones too! She is a tiny little one, barely weighing 4 lbs. We cannot wait for her hair to grow in. She must have been surrendered terribly matted because when we got her all of her hair was hacked off. So we just tried to trim her up yesterday to make it look a little bit better. The attached photo os of her taken yesterday. Kit |

| I love sr yorkies! The little-known secret about yorkies is that they just keep getting better with age. She is precious.

| Oh, what a little doll Olivia is! She melts your heart to look at her. I agree, older yorkies are precious! I wish I could take her. Please let us know when she finds her forever home. I have a great admiration for you for rescuing her.
