| My Beloved Passed Away! I'm Devastated I haven't been on here for a long time. My beloved Tiny passed away in my arms on November 24th, 2008. She was born on April 7, 1994, so she was 15. I lost my job of 22 and a 1/2 years in June of last year, and she was the last bastion of sanity I had. I have come to terms with it, but I still hear her and my other beloved chihauhau of 18 years who passed away in July 25th of 2007. My quote of the year is "It is a fearful thing to love that which can be touched by death" Eleanor Roosevelt. I don't know if I will ever be the same again. I am the mother of three boys and now two Grandsons, so I will keep going. Eastern Star has much support for me and many friends. Hopefully I will be able to get and love another Yorkie as I did Tiny, but it will be hard. Thank you all for your support over the past two years when Tiny was aging and I had many questions. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! Melissa mknight_1@hotmail.com |

Thor's Human Donating Member | That is a beautiful quote, I have never heard it before. And very true, sadly. I hope her memories bring more joy than sadness to you soon.

YT Addict | I am so sorry for your loss.It took me 5 years to start over with another dog. But still think about my wonderful baby I lost 5 years ago. But now I share my heart again with two wonderful dogs and I feel complete again. It will take some time for your heart to heal but it will hang in there. Sending hugs your way.

| Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! Thank you all for your sincere expressions of sympathy. I knew if anyone would understand how I feel it would be all of you. The beautiful pictures of the Yorkies is why it has taken me so long to come back on here. They are getting easier to look at. I believe that times does heal and my Tiny is buried in my little cemetary out back by the patio I sit on. The neighbors think I'm crazy anyway, I always talked to Tiny then, and I still talk to her now.. Oh well, I will continue, it brings me peace and the flowers I have planted on there. Melissa |
