| A lovely morning walk I''ve taken a few days off work to write an essay and so that I have the car I've been dropping my partner off at the train station early in the morning. And I thought as I was up anyway I might as well walk the puppies!! So I took my camera and took some vids of the kids being themselves and some pictures of the local flora. I hope you like them. I don't know what it was that Dougal found to roll in - but Dixie had had a good roll in the same spot the first time we walked passed it!

| Summer has arrived with a vengeance today so I'm going to risk the giant hole in the ozone over New Zealand and enjoy the sunshine! I've put on my factor 30+ sunscreen and put in my contacts so I can wear sun glasses. We're off for another walk. The pictures by the way are Toi toi flowers Flax flowers and a cabbage tree a weed with a pretty flower Flax flowers (flax is called harekeke by the Maori (NZ indigenous people) pronounced ha-re-ke-ke with the "e" sound like the "e" in egg.) There's no particular emphasis on any syllable.

| Thank you. I think they're adorable but some people have indicated that I may be a little bit biased!

| I love the spring growth! Thankfully they have mowed the grass at the dog park so it's not taller than Dixie anymore! When it's long Dixie sproings through it like a demented little bunny rabbit!

LMBO!!!! That was great!!!! I would love to do that here..but our water is sooooooooooo cold I feel bad if I toss a stick in during the winter!! It's even COLD in the summer! Mountain fed rivers! Not that my yorkie would go NEAR the water.....but my large 80 lb.mix Dakota will whether I throw a stick or not....summer or winter...lol makes the drive home miserable tho! I would love to see more scenic videos of your babies!!! I bet it's just BEAUTIFUL there!! I've always wanted to visit New Zealand!!! Your so lucky!

| What a beautiful place to be. It's beautiful, tranquil and someplace I'd love to be with my three. Mine have never been off leash.

| We're pretty sure that we're really lucky! The river is a brilliant resource and there's a dog friendly (off leash) beach in town too which is super fun. We went for a walk today in a National Park which isn't off lead but it's still fantastic!

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Those are awesome -- the pics too! I never realized how well the two of them get along. They look like best buds. And Dixie sure looks like she's in charge!

But Dixie is definitely the boss - making sure Dougal does what he's allowed.
