I really didn't like the cage or newspaper. It doesn't seem like that is a great way to treat a dog. There should be a birthing box with soft blankets and someone calmly talking to the mom all the time. I think this is just sad...

I am not sure why my heart ached when I saw that video - giving birth in a cage... but it sure is amazing to see she had six puppies....

This one gets up close but maybe use it as a guide on "how not to birth" - in a crate on top of some newpaper doesn't strike me as how a yorkie momma should be cared for...

I watched this delivery and thought it was terrible conditions. Wire crate, newspaper and the poor dog looked miserable.

this video was disturbing...why in the world was she giving birth on a crate floor with just newspaper...they could have use lots and lots of towels, blankets, sheets or something if they wanted to use a crate...i feel so bad for the momma....argh!!!!

It upset me too for all reasons mentioned above.

Mom looked thin & weak, there's no doubt that she could have been cared for a lot better. Also, the fact that the person filming (owner?) grabbed the moms head and pulled her away from cleaning her pups to get a better view.... aaagh.

I just tell myself that at least those pups have that much. It could be a lot better, but it could be a lot worse too.

Wow.. I was really nerveous while watching her deliver.. Man, it's more nerve racking watching your furbaby whelping, then it is to actually have a human baby.. lol

Yes our nerves can get a little frazzled too, we just have to remember to stay calm for our girls. One of the girls born during this video you can see here: One more to share...show hopeful!

the 2nd video however, made me so upset!!! the poor girl had no help and she birthed that many baby on newspaper? ugggh! ignorant people like who owns that beautiful girl makes me sooo mad!!!! ugggh!!!

Thank you for the compliments...we do whatever we can to make them the most comfortable during delivery. They get all the back rubs, fluffy blankets, and ice cream they want..lol.
