Someone out there must have cute videos of there furbabies dragging there furbutts on the floor. My baby does it now and then, just has an itch that needs to be handled

When Reece does that it means its time to express his glands..ick..thank goodness hubby does that job and its only about 2 times year but still...ick lol

Are you aware that even tho butt scootin is cute, it is also usually a sign of worms or anal glands that need to be expressed?

I agree, I'm grossed out by it because it's not usually a good thing. Worms.... yuck. Anal glands need expressing.... double yuck.

I've been trying forever to get Gracies scooting on tape. She doesn't scoot her bootie she scoots her girl stuff on the rug. After she pees outside my rug becomes a huge piece of Toilet paper for her. She lays on her belly and pulls herself along the rug by her front paws leaving her back ones draggin behind!

She's a strange one I must admit. you know how some dogs kick their back legs after they go potty? Well she flattens herself out and digs her back feet into the dirt! Like she's reving her engines up!

Now Bella lets me know when she has to poop by scooting her butt on the rug "like what is that, get it off of me!"

Its not always that. Chloe does it because the floor is cold and feels good. I thought it would be anal glands or worms and had her checked out. She checked out fine. Doc said it probably just felt good!
