We just got back from a weekend out in the country. My husband and I stayed at a really nice B&B in Central Ohio that let's you take your doggies, so of course we took Izzy. She did so well for her very first mini-vac with mom and dad. The only pics that we couldn't get of her is with the horses - I was holding her and she was barking her little head off so we didn't want to scare the horses...lol - but she did so well with all the other animals..she met goats, chickens, doggies, cats, and of course, the many nice people that stayed at the B&B and all the owners.

1) Hi everyone - well I'm off safely secure in my new Snoozer - that's my daddy next to me - I love him very much.

2) Awww - dont' you just love the smell of that fresh country air?
3) Here is a buddy of mine that I met at the B&B - his name was Pumpkin and we became buddies even though I barked at him a lot..lol.
4) See - I told ya we were buddies - he came to the door lookin for me to come out to play.!

5) Here is Macy and Jake - my new doggie buddies - they showed me around their place - boy do that have it made - they get to play with all the animals all the time and meet all the guests and get petted.

6) Yikes - my mommy says this is a thing called a goat...I'm not too sure of that thing but my mommy kept me safe and he was OK - he made this funny sound coming out of his mouth though.

7) Here is me and my mommy - I wuv her very much and so glad that she and daddy took me on my first ever vacation with them.

Oh - and mommy said I was awesome since I did't pee or poo at all in our room - I did everything outside and I'm only 9 mos. old....yay for me! Thanks everyone for looking at my pictures.

Those are great pictures! I know she was the center of attention there. Lacy barks and growls at horses when she sees them too

OMG, these pics are so adorable. How did the guests like her darling outfits, she was dressed so cute for her mini vac lol All this socialization will be worth it's weight in gold as she grows older being introduced at a young age.

You and your hubby are just as cute as Izzy....well almost

WOWWW!!!! You had such a blast!!! I am sooo jealous to see you wearing a sweater... Here we still are in shorts and tank tops... and I love the pictures! Izzy is such a princess!!! And you, girl, it is very nice to put a face on a name!!! Thanks for sharing!

I know you had a memorable time! Don't you just love the pet-friendly B'n'Bs? We did that with Abigail, last year, and just loved having her with us! (See: Abigail's Awesome Adventure) I think Izzy had a better time in the country than Ms. Abigail did in the city, though.

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
