| Introducing Alfie Hi everyone. My name's Jen and I just adopted my first dog. His name is Alfie and he's 11 weeks old and weighs 1lb 15 oz. I've had him for a couple weeks and it's been quite an adventure housebreaking him but overall I couldn't have chosen a better dog for me. Do yorkies typically become very attached to their owners? I've noticed that when I bring him around other people or bring him to new environments, he always comes back to me and doesn't stray. |

| Many puppies of all breeds are attached to their owners for the first few months. There are people in our complex that have very young dogs, and think that because they stay near them that they are "well trained." Just be weary of this, because when he gets older, he gets more brave and may stray further than where you are comfortable. Congrats on such a cute furbaby!

| Welcome to YT!!! Alfie is adorable. And yes, they do become attached. Some are more independant than others, some are snuggle bugs. and the list goes on!!! Congratulations on your first (hint hint) Yorkie baby!!! Can't wait to see pics of Alfie as he grows.

| Your new furbaby is adorable. Yes, they become very attached to their care givers. Buddy never leaves me alone when I am home. Never! He's always "THERE". Congratulations and enjoy. |
