| Gypsy at 12 weeks old Here are some pictures of Gypsy at 12 weeks Old. I wonder if you can tell me how is her coat going to be when she's an adult. She has so much hair i wonder how do you know it is a soft coat. Thanks! Ana |

Therapy Dog Donating Member | Hi Gypsy and Gypsy's mom - she is very cute and I'm no breeder here but from what I can tell by the pics you posted it looks like Gypsy's going to have a cotton coat...I'm sure others will tell you for sure. I used to have two cotton and now Izzy is silk and Gypsy doesn't look like she has silky coat but it's short for me to tell. Thanks for sharing your pic with us.

| I really don't know how to tell, but she's beautiful anyway. Can someone explain the differences in the coats?

| she reminds me of how maggie was when i got her at almost 11 weeks. her hair was SOOOOOOOOOO fluffy and thick. now she has beautifully soft hair, but at 11 months old still has almost all puppy hair. her adult hair is starting to grow in but it is taking a loooong time she will be one of those that is still changing at 3 years old i am no expert but seeing as how she looks like maggie did at that age, i think she will have beautiful soft hair. and thick!!
