| Our 1st Vest!! Okay, well it's our 2nd. The first was waaaay to small. LOL I had gone out and gotten a pattern for doggie pj's. That was a disaster. So decided to start with something a bit more simple. I bow down before all you sewin' gurus. It's a lot tougher than it looks!! Thanks to Mitzis Mom for posting the link to the pattern I used. It can be found here: http://www.sewing.circleofcrafters.c...stpattern.html I couldn't get my printer to print any of the patterns correctly from the website. So I had to play with enlarging it with my scanner. It's still not perfect, but we're getting there. The material is actually a clearance sale place mat. LoL I didn't have the right size velcro so had to improvise. Excuse Brody's bed head. We had a late night. Thanks for looking!!

| Good for you! I never would have thought of a placemat. Very creative.

| Thanks y'all!! I wasn't sure how well Brody would take to clothes, but he doesn't seem to mind too much. Thank goodness! My daughter and I are enjoying our time sewing together. The only other sewing we've done was pillows as xmas gifts last year. So things that aren't box shaped are still quite the challenge. LoL My daughter wouldn't let me quit on those pj's I started. They're turning out okay, but at least a size too small. I'm not sure I'll ever get the sizing thing down. So they'll probably end up being pj's for one of her bears. I'll post some pics once they're done.

| Great job, it turned out great! I had the same problem when I printed that pattern out a while back. I think gettting the sizing right can be the toughest part. Have FUN... |

| I think you did great I used to sew, but I'm super rusty now I don't think I could manage such a small piece The smaller the item, the harder it is to sew
