| any close ups?? I am really struggling with maggie's face hair. her first grooming trip, the groomer shaved her muzzle, i kept it up just because i couldn't stand letting it grow out. but now...we are growing it out. and I am just wondering what I am looking forward to... do any of you have close up face shots you can post? Do any of you trim the hair directly by the eyes? to me, this is the worst...that hair by the eyes is always in her eyes and her eyes just water so much because of it. I can't get any good pictures because her face is always so wet anyone want to share??? Here is one of maggie...I actually have vaseline on her face hair to try and keep it out of her eyes...but we can't do this all the time. it just looks horrible!!!!! thanks!!!!

| Here are a few of my girl Ava and her buddy Maya. (check out how I trimmed her coat while I was at the end of my pregnancy...so much easier to keep. Now that Taylor has been born, I'm letting her grow back out) |

| the hair around Layla's eyes are finally growing out now that i do my own grooming. i always told the ppl at petsmart that i didn't watn that area cut but i think they did anyways... and i find there are always a few that still stick in her eyes no matter how much i wet them so they get cut as needed. We were also having a hard time with her "bangs-if you will" her hair goes back in a clip but for the LONGEST time she would have these little whispies that would get in her eyes but since we stopped going to petsmart for grooming they are almost all grown out! | I Love Ava's haircut. I do my own grooming and was always afraid to cut my babies hair that short, but now that I have seen it in your pictures, I am going to cut mine short for the rest of the summer.

| i'm seeing that most of you trim around the eyes as necessary...that makes me feel better. I just hate it being in her eyes so i want so badly to trim it. i have a surprise.... you'll have to look for another post a little later

| ImCKN- Thank You. It really does look quite cute on them. Send me a PM or something if you'd like to know how I did it, unless you think you've got that covered, because it isn't all the same length on the body. It's my version of a lion cut, mane and all. And if you have a yorkie w/ a cottony coat, I trim the same length w/ clippers from the base of the neck down to the elbows and down to the pastern and feather from there, leaving a rounded tail...it's freakin' adorable! (the head gets trimmed up the same as my lion cut) I'm not a Groomer by profession, just a hobby. I'll stick to training instead! |
