| My Yorkie Wont Stop Barking!!!!!!!!!!! My yorkie is 6 months old..it started last monday..all he does is bark at me & my girfriend...he never did this before??? its driving us insane we go watch t.v---bark.bark bark...you go inthe kitchen--bark bark.. you go to get ready for work in the morning...bark..bark....we spend so much time with him,,he goes everywhere with us..I DONT GET IT...HELP |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | I had barkers, too! What I did was take them by the face, look them eye to eye and tell them firmly, NO! I would do this anytime they started barking. Worked for me. Now, if they start barking, I tell them NO, or just call them by name. They'll stop and look at me. But, you also have to take into consideration the age of your pup. Give it time, but reprimand them (not physically) and it should eventually stop. Good luck! |

| My male is also 6mths and he just started to bark all the time.He's very skittish so he'll bark at anything.We would call his name and tell him,in a firm voice NO.If he still barks then we bring out the squirt bottle and spray him with water.He doesn't like it so he'll stop for a bit and it doen't hurt him.Hopes this helps.

| I used the squirt bottle with water too and it worked! I also had to learn to be very consistent with what word I used. I use the command "quiet" when they become rowdy. It takes time and patience but it will work! Keep us posted |
