| My Three J's in their Go.Fetch 4th of July Splendor! Des - THANK YOU!!!! Jazzie, Jolie & Jen were like celebrities in their Go.Fetch 4th of July dresses! We had so many people stopping us to admire them in all their Splendor and I have no idea how many pictures were taken of them! I felt like I was walking with Paris, Lindsay & Brittany with all the attention they were getting. Since I had all three, I had a really hard time getting pictures of them. We spent the afternoon and into the evening with Janelle (Surfie and Tiki) and her lovely family. They are fabulous and made me and the girls feel so welcome. [F]~ Thank you Janelle! ~[/FONT] We spent the entire afternoon at her parents incredible home on the Balboa Harbor (my second visit there) and watched the boat parade. Some people went all out decorating their boats. The U.S. Navy was in the parade too. Here are some pictures of the kids and some of the decorated boats.

| Oh and there was a HUGE sealion on a boat right in front of us. He was sitting on the back of the boat and the owner came paddling up in a inflatable raft, snuck around the side and started to beat the side of the boat with a floating thing (sorry, I don't know what it's called - it's like a bumber tube thing). Anyway, the sealion finally dove off! I was so mesmerized I didn't even reach for the camera! More Pictures!

A few days after I got the dresses, I got this unexpected package at work. Jodie sent us 6 bows she made herself! She saw the dresses Des made and knowing Des no longer makes matching bows, she contacted Des to make sure the little stars matched. The bows were perfect for the Patriotic Dresses! and she included bows with Fruits buttons ones them too! Thank you so much for such an unexpected and wonderful gift for the girls! You two totally made our 4th of July 2007 so memorable! Thank you!

| OMG Corinne! Those pictures of the girls are just so adorable! They look so stunning in their red, white and blue! I love the setting.... Balboa is definitely one of my favorite places, and I haven't been there in such a long time. Thanks for reminding me of this. I'll have to take Mango there on a walkabout. Naturally, she would be nekked, seeing as my little tomboy will NOT wear anything beyond a harness. Sheesh! and her Mommy grew up in the ragtrade! Can't wait to see you and your fabulous trio on Saturday!!!! (That's Jen and Jolie on the left, Jazzy on the right, in case you don't recognize them) |
