| Hi, I finally was able to get the pictures firgured out so here are my Ladys 4th litter of 8 pups .. and her 5th litter of 9 one died from each litter.. they both were the first born butt first.. one of the many sad times that can come from breeding.. jenny Last edited by jmcilwain; 06-08-2005 at 08:09 PM. |

| Very cute puppies I hope you don't mind me asking, but how many times to you breed your baby before retiring her? I only ask cuz I haven't a clue about breeding...

| OMG!!! Eight puppies in one litter??? Were you doing yorkie fertility dances???? Congrats on eight healthy pups... I am sorry to hear about the loss of one!

| lady retired after her 5th litter..9 pups put her out of business.. she came down with eclampisia.. 8 pups had to be tube and bottle fed.. they all made it.. I've only bred my yorkies every other heat. I think it would depend on how your female does with her delieveries how many times you would breed her. If she would of had to of had a c-section I problely would of said no more, and not put her through that again..Lady was a very loving mother she would let me help her anyway that I could.. her Daughter on the other hand was just the opposite she would let me help her with the first pup and then i'd better stay away..or she'd nip me.. |

| Lady was 8pds when I first got her she 8pds.. she got up to 13 pds with each litter.. that many pups she needed the weight.. jen |
