| You don't need to give her nutrical unless she needs it. So just keep it on hand in case she does need some. I have never had to give Lily any.

| When you suspect she is suffering from low blood sugar from stress, injury, etc. When she becomes limp, inable to walk, loose stool, acts drunk she has run out of fuel for her little body. The best thing to do is try to feed her, however nutrical will put vitamins back in her body quickly. When she does something new when you first get her, like go for a drive, met new people or whatever she make begin to shake. Lily did this for a while but then would stop. If she didn't stop I would have then gave her nutrical. Hope this helps.

NutriCal should never be a replacement to meals either. Since it is high in calories the dogs love the taste and may prefer to only eat that if you are giving it to her too often. I use NutriCal as a treat nowadays or if I have to leave the babies at home they know cause I give them some when I leave to let them know I'll be back soon. Hope that helps.
