| We are in the same boat! Sparky has the same problem. I usually spray some white vinegar on the spot of the carpet that he likes to eat. It works for at least 3-4 hours, then I have to re-spray again. Sparky hates the vinegar small, and stop eating the carpet Last edited by Sparky-S; 05-24-2005 at 11:01 AM. |

| Yes, it works Yes, it works for Sparky. I spray white vinegar on everything that he likes to chew or eat, i.e. furnitures, open closet, carpet and so on. Good luck! |

| Where would I get Bitter Apple? My dog has this one spot in the carpet that he loves, and his sister chews there too sometimes. It's hidden from view and he's not pulling up carpet, so I usually let him. Well that, and I can't stop him!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Try to cut the long parts - I've heard of yorkies eating their nylon collars and it gets tangled in their intestinal tract - so please be careful ! Some carpets are long loop and just one continual piece - (We sell carpet) and it can be ingested and you may end up with a very sick puppy ... My cocker did that - I had to cover the area she chewed on till she grew out of that stage...you can prevent the chewing if you use your imagination and then one day you can fix those areas...i's hard when they do this cause they always go back to the spot they started on - Good Luck ! |

| Yeah, I think it's okay if you like having holes in your carpet, and strings in your dogs poop that you have to pull out by hand because he can't do it himself. Yeah, i think that's totally fine.
