| Sme things that you will need is a small crate, a baby blanket, some food, poty pads if you are going to use them, a brush, shampoo and conditioner, a toothbrush and toothpaste, you might want to get an xpen or a baby playpen, bowls for food and water, a bed. Good luck with the new puppy. I can tell you are very excited. Oh youll also want film for your camera

| Also get some Nutrical to have on hand in case of hypoglycemia. A couple chew toys for puppy teeth are probably a good idea as well. And a sweater or coat for going outside - even if just to bring her home. Congratulations!!

Also remember whatever schedule you set up for her from day #1, she will most likely follow. For example: When I got my 1st, she came out of her playpen AFTER she used her wee wee pad. Then I would let her run around & play until I felt it was time for her to use P-pad again..or when it was time for her nap. By #3, I slacked off, I let her stay out cause it was so much fun to watch her play with the other 2 girls, needless to say, she doesn't always make it to the p-pad... I am sorry I didn't do it the same way for #3, it worked so well and she has no accidents now. Also I have found that the "spot" I put the p-pad in became a permanent spot, even now if I move the p-pad to another location, the older 2 still want to go where the spot was they were used to going. ALl mine are one year or younger. Good luck and have fun

| Before I adopted my Yorkies, I had done years of Yorkie rescue, read everything about the breed I could get my hands on and spent almost a year looking for someone who shows them and has puppies available. I don't think anyone should just decide to get a certain breed without knowing all about it and what you should have on hand for it. |
