It's been so long since I've posted pix of Miss Abbie, I thought I'd catch up today while I had the camera taking pix of her GE package.

Sooo....here is our Abigail at 14 months. My, my...what a difference a year makes!

Thanks everyone for the compliments on my baby goil. I do love her coloring, and yes I know it's subject to change - but I hope it doesn't! It's just kind of thin, and grows so very sloooooowly. The hair from shoulder and hips is to the floor; but the groin area is still an inch to two inches shy. I rotate between Pet Silk products (Tearless Puppy Shampoo, Conditioner, and Liquid Silk) and Duurstede (Shampoo EF, Conditioner, & Revitalizer). I will say I prefer the Pet Silk. One should be careful how much of the Liquid Silk is used for finishing, though. It smells pleasant, but can be overpowering for the pooch, and can make a silk coat look greasy. And, I never brush her dry. Also, we know that what goes into the pooch is more important as far as outcome than what goes on the pooch

- and "daddy"s digital has a delay, hence, all the back and bum shots. I catch her actually looking at the camera, and by the time I shoot, we have a completely different shot! LOL I know y'all have experienced that, too - it's frustrating. *ggrrrrrrr* That's why I haven't had a current avatar for so long.

I know what you mean about the digital delays. After hundreds of shots of the tail end of something I wanted -- I got a digital SLR camera. It is way more complicated than I have figured out but thankfully it has an auto mode. No more delays. Now if I can just learn to take a little better pictures, I'll be set.

She is BEAUTIFUL !!!!! wow - those are really nice pictures that dress is so pretty on her....

I've always wondered about the Duurstede products - so you like Pet Silk better ?? I have liquid silk and you're right - too much and they do look greasy but I LOVE the smell

. Yes...LOTS of momma's care is right! It's hard to know what to do when you have a thin silky. Brush - but not too much, and never dry. Bathe - but, not too too much! aarrrggghhh!

Don't give up on taking pix - especially now that you have the new one! The one I use here is the evidence cam that hubby uses in his work. We're working on getting a good personal one; but, I think I did pretty good this time, with this one

. Aaand, guess what we learned? His camera has a no-delay mode!! LOL All this time! Now, he has to read the book (ghee, there's a novel idea

) to find out how to get the delay off.

Thanks! Yes, I do think I like the Pet Silk better, although I used the Duurstede for her last bath a couple of days prior to these pix.
